Mark Burns

Founder & Executive Producer

Mark started Punch Up Creative in 2018 after a decade of experience at distinctive comedy institutions The Onion and The Second City. Through leading hundreds of writers rooms, live shows, training sessions, and video productions, Mark has honed his expertise in meaningfully connecting with audiences.

Outside the corporate realm, he produces independent projects such as the award-winning short film Griffica and web series The Coat Room.

Saj is a cinematographer with over 15 years of experience. His work includes feature films, documentaries, and hundreds of commercial projects for TV and social media.

Victoria is a creative producer with experience in photography, art design, and social content creation. Her work scales from non-profit and corporate projects to indie and other major studio productions.

Tim Sniffen has written for Work in Progress on Showtime, Jackbox Studios, and The New Yorker. He also performs on stage with The Improvised Shakespeare Company.

Julia is a writer, performer, teacher, and the Creative Director at the Vermont Comedy Club. She previously toured the country with the Second City.

Olivia is a versatile performer who has toured with The Second City, provided voiceover work for brands such as Starbucks and Purina, and appeared in a number of commercials and independent films.

Jesse is an award-winning producer, composer, musical improvisor, and mix engineer who's made all sorts of music with all sorts of people. He owns and works from Outsider Audio, a destination studio in a converted barn located deep in the cornfields of Southern Illinois.

Andrew is an alumni of The Second City's Mainstage and ETC stage, performs with The Improvised Shakespeare Company, and has appeared on NBC, SyFy, and the NFL Network.
